Engine 170-2 is a 1995 KME service engine purchased through the United States Air Force contract.

Engine 170-2 features:

• 1,250 GPM Hale pump
• 500 gallon booster tank
• 15 kW Onan generator

This engine was purchased to replaced a 1975 Ford/Pierce engine that was nicknamed “Mighty Fuzzy” after William “Fuzzy” Evans, a past fire chief.
