Good Friday Fish Dinner

Come join Heidelberg Fire Department on Good Friday for a Fish/Seafood Dinner. We will be selling fish today from 11am - 7pm. Also, remember that Perogies can be picked up today during this time.

For those of you who has ordered Perogies from Heidelberg Fire Department, today is the day to pick them up. Also, person who still owes for your order, please bring money. Perogies will only be given out once your account is settled. Hours are from 11am to 7p today.

Structure Fire

Heidelberg Fire Department responded to the report of a working residential structure fire at 12:15 a.m. This fire was located 2 doors from our station. Thank you to Glendale, Bower Hill, East Carnegie, Carnegie, Presto, Kirwan Heights, and Dormont Fire Departments for their assistance with this fire. In all approximately 60 firefighters were onscene for a little over 3 hours for fire suppression and clean-up. HVFD remained onscene for several hours for hot spot clean-up. Also, thank you to Mt. Lebanon and Bridgeville Fire Departments as they provided area coverage while crews worked onscene.

Heidelberg Fire Department would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family and we are asking our neighbors in Heidelberg and the surrounding communities to help by giving donations. Gift cards, money, or clothes are welcome. This fire hit close to home physically and emotionally as the house belonged to one of our members and it appears to be a total loss.
